What is Two-Step Verification?

In short, two-step verification provides you with another layer of defense to protect your online account(s).

One-Step

Normally, when you sign-in to an online account you’re presented with a login screen. This screen is a form asking you to provide your credentials in the form of a username and password. Once filling in these requirements you’ll be able to click a login button and you’ll have access to your account. This was done in just one step.

Mobile Security – Android Edition

As we dive further into the holiday season, a time when many of us are busy catching up with friends and family, it is important to remember the little things. The way the snow drapes across the horizon can be especially frustrating at times, but it is also beautiful. Take some time to appreciate friends new and old; perform a random act of kindness for a stranger. Be a little selfish, too – enjoy a mug of hot cocoa, get cozy under your favorite blanket, and take some time to review the security options on your Android phone.

Hidden Facebook Features

Tools are great – never have I pondered the contents of my workbench without a smile on my face. Perhaps I’m utilitarian. Nevertheless, having a feature-rich device or platform that can be leveraged to ease the flow of work is certainly helpful. Perhaps even better than tools themselves are their unintended, or even hidden, functions. Recently I was trying to solve a problem with a post that was made to Facebook, and discovered one such hidden function. This spurred in me a desire to compile a list of my favorite lesser-known Facebook features – things that are great for everyday users and marketers alike. read more
